Learn how to make this adorable mushroom cottage from a toilet paper tube!
I found myself looking at toilet paper rolls and thinking... what could I turn this into? The first Idea that came to mind is a mushroom! Then while creating this adorable little fungi I figured why not give it a cottage core vibe! I love how it turned out!

This easy craft takes only about 30 minutes to make! By the end you'll have an adorable little fall decor! This is also a great craft for kids to decorate!
What you'll need:
Toilet paper tube
Scissors
Paint
Paintbrush
How to make a mushroom cottage
Step 1.) Cut out a mushroom shape from a toilet paper roll.

Step 2.) Paint Mushroom

Step 3.) Add windows and a door to your mushroom. Start by painting the windows white and then outline them with brown.

Step 4.) Add details!

Step 5.) Share a picture of your mushroom cottage on social media and tag @peacefulpaintdrop!

Cute but what if it lit up?!
I haven't had the opportunity to test this theory out YET, but I think it would look really cool to cut out the windows and then stick a battery-operated tea light on the inside. Then our little mushroom cottages could have a cozy glow! I'd probably add white paper or parchment paper to cover the windows from the inside to help defuse the light. I'll definitely update this post if I'm able to do that later! If you do it please send us a picture!
